How much should I spend on ads?
Enough that the data means something, which for most local businesses is somewhere between one and three thousand a month to start. Below about a thousand there are too few clicks to tell a good keyword from a bad one, and you end up paying for a learning period that never finishes.
Do you take a percentage of ad spend?
No. The fee is flat, $750 or $1,200 a month, and it is on this page. A percentage fee pays the agency more when you spend more, which is a strange thing to build into the relationship.
Who owns the Google Ads account?
You do. It is created under your own billing and I am added as a manager. If you leave, I am removed and everything stays exactly where it is. Nobody should be able to hold your campaign history hostage.
How fast do Google Ads work?
Faster than SEO and slower than people expect. Clicks start the day it goes live. Reliable data on which keywords produce calls takes about six weeks, and the account is usually at its best around the third month. Anyone promising profitability in week one is guessing.
What is the free audit, exactly?
I open your existing account, read the search terms report, check whether conversion tracking fires and look at where the ads land. You get that in writing. It is genuinely free and there is no call attached to it unless you want one.
Can I run ads and SEO at the same time?
Yes, and for most local businesses that is the right order: ads for the phone this quarter, local SEO for the phone next year. They also feed each other, because the search terms report from ads tells you exactly which keywords are worth writing pages for.
Do you run Facebook and Instagram ads too?
Yes, under the same fee, where they fit. Meta ads work for services people have to be shown before they think to search for one. They do not replace search ads for a business people already look for by name.
What if ads are not right for my business?
Then I will tell you in the audit and you will have saved yourself a year of spend. Some businesses have too little margin per job, or too small a service area, for paid search to work. That is a real answer and it is free.
